Millersville.APP ("we," "us," or "the site") is an independent community information hub for Millersville, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email admin@millersville.app.
Information you choose to give us. When you submit an event, an upcoming signup or registration, a bulletin-board post, a business-listing inquiry, or a business review, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, and the content of your submission. These forms are powered by Google Forms, and the responses are stored in Google Sheets that we control. Don't include sensitive personal information in a submission.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited, the general region a visit comes from, and the type of device and browser used. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to do this. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site.
Notifications (only if you opt in). If you turn on notifications, your browser creates a push subscription through its own push service. We store that subscription so we can send you the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser or device settings, which stops them.
Preferences stored on your device. Your audience choice (Townie or Marauder) and any favorites you save are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser's site data for Millersville.APP removes them.
Store purchases. If we offer items for sale and you make a purchase, checkout is handled by our e-commerce provider, Ecwid. Ecwid collects the information needed to process your order (such as payment and contact details) under its own privacy policy; we don't receive or store your full payment information.
Server logs. Like most websites, our host automatically records standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of each request — for security and to keep the site running.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these ways:
Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding cookies and analytics.
The site links to and draws information from third-party sources (such as venue, school, athletics, and news websites). We don't control those sites, and their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information to them.
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at admin@millersville.app and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as to access or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us and we'll respond as required by applicable law.
We keep submissions for as long as needed to operate the relevant community listing and our records, and you can ask us to delete information you submitted. Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings and policies.
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
